Demon Slayer is one of the anime that has fought against classics like Spirited Away, which swept the sales. Also according to the latest reports, Demon Slayer Season 2 is not far away! The trailer has already been released. Zenitsu is one of the demon slayers in that nine with a unique character. He is very fond of girls, yet he has been rejected by countless.
When he met Nezuko, he knew that she was a demon. But that didn’t stop him from chasing after her! Nezuko has been avoiding humans all but her own brother. Is there any chance that Zenitsu and Nezuko will end up together?
Repeated tests of Zenitsu
It is very difficult to understand his character at first sight. He appears to be weak and afraid of death and facing quests. However, when it comes to taking on enemies, he never shows any mercy. His character may seem whiny at times, but inside he is no less so when it comes to protecting those close to him.
In the sequel to the demon slayer movie Mugen Train, we have seen that he has strong feelings for Nezuko. She becomes the reason for him to wake up from the endless sleep and save the passengers on the train. From the incidents that have occurred so far, it can be believed that he cares deeply for Nezuko, whether he is surrounded by enemies and fighting to the death.

Nezuko is one of the Kawai characters in the anime. She may not speak, but her actions speak volumes for themselves. She has gone toe-to-toe with Tanjiro even if it means suppressing her bloodlust. She has shown in every situation that even after being a devil, she still holds her love for humanity.

Her bond with Tanjiro remains strong, whether it’s because of the situations they’ve been thrust into. They have never left each other. Even when Tanjiro was given the option to keep her with the doctor. On the other hand, we have also seen Tanjiro’s desire to leave no stone unturned to make Nezuko human again.
With the bamboo wedged into Nezuko’s mouth and suppress her demonic urges. She hasn’t been able to speak or express much of her emotions towards anyone other than Tanjiro. The real question arises, will Nezuko ever speak again? Or will Nezuko be able to become human once more?

There have been many unanswered questions that don’t give a definite direction on Nezuko’s point of view and her feelings towards Zenitsu. With four of them traveling together to complete missions, we can expect them to grow closer where Nezuko will be able to express her emotions and feel comfortable with Zenitsu and Inosuke. However, these facts can only be determined in Demon Slayer Season 2 with more screen time given to Nezuko’s character.
Not much is known about Nezuko’s current self. Since she has lost her memory and has been through many fierce situations before being brought under control. We have a lot to discover about Nezuko before we understand if she will be able to develop a romantic and human relationship with Zenitsu! Also because of that fact, the people around her won’t be very accepting of her without knowing if she’ll ever be able to turn back into a human!

As for Zenitsu, her feelings for Nezuko will continue to grow. Probably in the hope that she would actually reciprocate. As of now, it’s hard to frame her future considering everyone has a bigger enemy to face before things turn upside down.
