Sukuna reveals his motive for having Megumi in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213.

He describes being captivated by Megumi’s powers for long time and waiting for him to be at his weakest to attack.

Sukuna received the chance he desired when Megumi discovered his sister had become a conduit for an old sorcerer and was unlikely to return.

Sukuna feels Megumi will be a much better vessel than Yuji, who became a prison for him.

The King of Curses quickly attacks Yuji and causes him to spew blood.

As Hana regains consciousness, Sukuna recognizes her as a threat since she and Angel cohabit symbiotically and consequently heal quicker.
