The beginning of the Culling Game is revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 162, when Amai is waiting for the signal. She discusses her strategy with another wizard, who tries to be arrogant, but she tells him that if she talks too much, she’ll run him over.
Starting with Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 162, Yuuji and Megumi begin the Culling Game. Amai accepts the sorcerer’s apology and the two continue their conversation. Meanwhile, Yuuji and Megumi understand that they must avoid the incarnated sorcerers they met earlier.

Megumi explains that some of the reincarnated wizards are from a thousand years ago and have a different perspective on existence. Fighting to the death comes naturally to them, and they want it, which leads them to sign a contract with Kenjaku. Kashimo and Higurama, Megumi thinks, are former wizards who can anticipate any negotiation.
However, they are able to communicate with Tsumiki. Yuuji believes that the cursed spirits are more violent at night. Inside the barrier, Kogane explains, there is a deadly contest called the Culling Game, which has just started, and anyone interested can enter if they are a participant.
Kogane asks if the two of them are ready. Yuuji and Megumi say they’re ready, and Kogane announces that Fushiguro Megumi has joined the Culling Game and asks if they’d like to follow the rules. They’re fine, says Megumi, and Yuuji remembers that they need information about Higuruma.

The two broke through the barrier and rose above the buildings on the other side. Yuuji notices that he can’t see Megumi and wonders where she is. It has been revealed that any participant who breaks through a Culling Game barrier is transported to one of nine locations.

Megumi points out to the woman that she was the one she initially attacked. He asks her about a sorcerer named Higurama and she apologizes. The woman evaded the question by claiming to be Remi, the sorceress. In the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, the sacrificial game continues.
