What to expect

Chainsaw Man fans, it’s time to shift our attention to Asa and Yoru! With recent chapters focusing heavily on Denji, mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto is expected to switch things up in chapter 121 by turning the spotlight on these two characters. Readers can expect the upcoming issue to start with a bang as we dive into what Yoshida and Asa are up to. Our lovebirds will probably be enjoying some quality time together, sipping coffee or digging into delicious food.

Things might get complicated as Yoru takes over Asa’s body again and musters up the courage to ask Yoshida to be their significant other. This impulsive move may be due to their previous plan to win over Denji falling short. However, such a sudden request may make Yoshida realize that something is off with Asa.

As the speculation continues, fans can’t help but wonder if Yoshida is the Death Devil’s Hybrid host or has some ties to the Four Horsemen Devils. It’s not impossible that this scenario could lead to Yoshida finally unveiling his true identity in the thrilling final pages of Chainsaw Man chapter 121.

Chapter 120 recap

Chainsaw Man chapter 120 picked up where the previous issue left off, with Nayuta duping Asa into thinking she was a dog. Unbeknownst to Nayuta, Yoru was controlling their body. Nayuta informed Denji that she did it to “Asa” because he spat on her (Denji’s) property, and that she can’t turn Asa back because she’s hungry. Denji then offered to cook for her in exchange for turning Asa around, to which she accepted.

As they enjoy their meal, Nayuta questions Denji’s decision to change Asa back, reminding him of the countless women who have tried to murder him. She questions why he thinks Asa is any different. While Denji expresses his feeling, Nayuta agrees to turn Asa back only if Denji stops being friendly with her. Nayuta explains that she dislikes Asa’s smell, which she unknowingly attributes to Yoru’s scent.

Denji agrees to Nayuta’s request, and she proceeds to manipulate Asa’s memories to make her believe that she has been stood up. Disappointed and alone, Asa stands outside her high school and confides in Yoru about how happy she is with the outcome. However, as she shows her true emotions, she ran to Hirofumi Yoshida, who requests her company.
